Alameda del Bicentenario - Zona Centro, Malecón
This pleasant park is in front of the municipal pier and was created for recreation of the locals. It has playgrounds, green areas and tracks for skating and bicycling. It also hosts cultural and political events.

Carmel Maranatha
This is a House of Prayer built in the seventies in charge of the Carmelite monks. The name Maranatha means "Ven Señor" (Our Lord, Come). The center is considered spiritual and retreat inviting to meditation and personal knowledge through silence. Its interior is richly decorated by artistic works as paintings and sculptures. Private retreats are held frequently but the doors are open daily to the general public. Open From 10:00hrs. to 18:00 hrs.

Crafts Market - Av. Juárez esq. Peñuelas, Centro
The Handicrafts Market offers crafts of the region and throughout the Republic (especially from Michoacan, Guerrero and Jalisco) for all people who wants to buy a keepsake . The most typical are glazed clay pottery, forged iron, weave and embroidery clothes, high-temperature pottery and basketry of ocoxal. You do not miss to visit this wonderful place.

Jardin Principal ( Zocalo)
It is also known as Plaza de los Tres Arboles and is the main place where converge the most important avenues of the town. Throughout the time it suffered numerous remodellings and is decorated with a kiosk in its center and surrounded by lush trees and benches which are covered with its shadow. On one side is the Parish of San Francisco. It is a great place to attend in the evenings and enjoy a delicious Nieve or esquites prepared in Valle style. Around it are located the Portales where many shops offer their services to visitors.

Joaquin Arcadio Pagaza Museum - Joaquín Arcadio Pagaza #201 Centro
This place was the house where the bishop of Veracruz lived, Joaquin Arcadio Pagaza. It was remodeled to become House of Cultural, Library and Museum of permanent and temporary exhibitions. In this place are continually organized samples of films, concerts and conferences of transcendent themes and general interest and creating at the same time an important part for the spreading the art in Valle de Bravo.

Lake of Valle de Bravo
The original name of this region was San Francisco del Valle de Temascaltepec and was a quiet farming town. In 1937 started the construction of the power plant of Ixtapantongo, better known as Miguel Aleman Hydroelectric System. For this project were flooded 2,900 hectares of agricultural land which formed the centre of the valley so, in this way was formed this artificial lake which nowadays is the heart of the city and where many water sports and boat tours can be practised. There you can take boat tours both during the day & the night time, the latter being offered only during the weekends (Saturday night). During the day you can see the magnificent landscaping around the lake, and on the night rides you can dance and have a drink on board --- it's like being on a mini cruise ship, quite fun! They also have water ski and other motorized water sports performed at the lake, and several people sail here as well.

The Pine Joaquín Arcadio Pagaza
Zona Centro. In the District of Santa Maria Ahuatlán where in 1530 the first mass was held, raises a beautiful ahuehuete tree that curiously everyone call it "Pine". The small garden has a plaque alluding to this facts and also can be observed archaeological pieces that were found and removed from the hill of "La Pena."

The Streets the Town Valle de Bravo
The streets of Valle de Bravo, must of them are stone paved and clean that seems to be a typical provincial painting. The city preserves its traditional flavor due to its routes where people stroll and have fun between restaurants and craft shops. Many of the them are inclined so we recommend you to wear comfortable shoes.

Velo de Novia Cascade - Vega de Valle, Avándaro
Impressive waterfall that is fed by the San Juan brook. It get this name because of the way the water falls that looks like a huge and white "Velo de Novia"(Veil of Bride) To get there you should go directly to the Fraccionamiento Avandaro. Inside the reserve is kept a temperate climate thanks to the large number of trees around it. Its green areas are adapted for people to enjoy a picnic lunch, excursions or camping. It has a viewpoint from which you can admire a panoramic view of the town of Valle de Bravo.
